SchoolPointe Change Log » survey http://changelog.schoolpointe.net comprehensive listing of SchoolPointe changes Wed, 19 May 2010 15:31:33 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.2 en hourly 1 eSurvey Module – Ability to duplicate question options for Multiple Choice/Selection Questions http://changelog.schoolpointe.net/2009/05/15/esurvey-module-ability-to-duplicate-question-options-for-multiple-choiceselection-questions/ http://changelog.schoolpointe.net/2009/05/15/esurvey-module-ability-to-duplicate-question-options-for-multiple-choiceselection-questions/#comments Fri, 15 May 2009 22:09:29 +0000 bhughes http://changelog.schoolpointe.net/?p=41 After receiving several requests to implement the ability to duplicate question options while creating a survey, we have added this capability to the CMS.  You’ll notice a “save & duplicate” button has been added to the interface when adding a question to a Survey.   Create a question as you normally would, add all the multiple choice or selection options.  Now if you click the “save & duplicate” button, it will duplicate the question options for you to be used in the next question.  You’ll then be prompted to provide the next question’s text, but you will see the options have already been added for you.  This should definitely cut down on time spent creating surveys, especially those surveys with several questions containing the same options. 

Some Additional Notes:

  • You can duplicate a question as many times as necessary
  • This can only be used with Multiple Choice and Selection Questions
